The Coldwater Fire
It only takes one choice to change the course of your life forever.
Summer camp is something to look forward to every year. A week of cabins, swimming, arts and crafts in the sun with friendship … and maybe something a little stronger, nestled next to a remote lake. Ollie and Carina have known each other since kindergarten. But one choice turned them into enemies, changing the course of their lives, and resulting in nothing but frustration ever since. They attend Camp Coldwater every summer with their class, with the unspoken tension, they silently agree to stay out of each other's way until they go to their separate colleges at the end of the summer. Of course, pretending is easier than facing the truth.
But this summer, everything changes.
A devastating fire tears through the camp, and Ollie and Carina are separated from their class and must rely on each other if they’re going to make it home. Through water, wilderness and uncertainty, they’re forced to work together while putting aside their past differences. Even if eventually, they’ll be forced to confront what drove them apart to begin with.
